Is there a way to prevent a certain machine from getting an address through DHCP by mac address or other? Basically what I have is a laptop that should not be where is it and I need to prevent it from gaining access to the network, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

option 1, create a second scope for this machine and give it different IP, subnet info, etc.
option 2, and the easiest, give it a static IP and just give it your default gateway address
