Demote DC with integrated DNS

I gonna get rid of one of 2003 DC which contains AD integrated DNS. Should I uninstall DNS and afterwards demote with DCPROMO or contrary?
What is a proper process?

So, just DCPROMO. I'm just wondering what's gonna happen to DNS service. Will it be uninstall automaticaly or I need to do it myself?
