Hello, new to delta server and uses of same. Can DS run on same machine as VMPro? I know DUMB question. Have to ask though I want to activate smdr on IP 406.

Thanks

ron k

I have it working on a bunch of sites on XP SP2 no problems.

Rmktech,

Please be aware that the CCC reporting tool can not co-exist with VM-PRO because of the way the databases are set up. This is true on 3.1.x anyway. I learnt this one the hard way!

Thanks

Andrew

You can use one PC for VM Pro and CCC if the load is not heavy.
Avaya recommend this only for up to ten agents.

Maybe it's the version or setup I use but the CCC and VM Pro use the same MSDE database name and therefore clash.

? VM Pro does not use MSDE, Contact Store does use MSDE.
I have recently installed CCC5 & VM Pro & Contact Store on one Win2003SR2 Server with two processors and 16GB mem.
No problem at all.

My apologies, I must have got it wrong. This is what our BP told me when we had problems with the CCC server so tried to run CCC on the VM Pro. RMKTech - Listen to someone who knows, not me :-(

intrigrant... is it also possible to put conference centre on the same server as all the other apps you already have?

Thanks all for the responses. I just need it for the smdr. The cust is not using CCC or anything else at this time.

thanks again

@TheTaker
I have everything you can have for IPO on one Server for demo/testing and it all works.
I have not yet seen a customer using it all and if they do i would reccomend to use several servers or one big one with Virtual Machines.

thanks intrigrant. i certainly wouldn't tell any customer that it is possible, why save them money and create hassle for me, but on my site half demo/half live i was going to go full throttle on a 2003 server. was going to go virtual machine, thanks for the input!
