Delta Server access blocked

I made a new setup of CCC on XP Pro. Everything installed fine and Delta Server found the IPO, and I can see it on the local machine through

http://localhost:8080.

However, CCV and Archiver cannot connect to it. I tried accessing the delta server from another computer, and couldn't login. I tried installing CCC on an updated Windows 2003, and faced the same problem. I tried a working machine we have, with an old un-updated Windows 2003, and it works fine there (connected to a differen IPO). I tried installing Delta Server on an updated Windows 2000 machine, and it works fine. I tried installing Delta Server on our company server, SBS 2003, and it works fine there.

On all machines the firewall was turned off.

To sum up my situation:
- Delta server cannot be accessed from CCV and Archiver.
- When trying to access Delta Server from a remote machine, I cannot login with any user name.
- I am suspeciting this is some Windows update issue. The update is relevant for XP and 2003 R2.

Any ideas where to look for the source of the problem?

What error do you get?

The username needs to be a member of the Local Administrator group on the server you're trying to access. It cannot just be any domain user.

The error from CCV is "Cannot connect to Delta Server". And that's all the information I can get.

Look under Services if you have the "Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)" service running.
In that case it might help following the intructions on the tech-tip 119 "Avaya IP Office Compact Contact Center (CCC) Security Modifications Post Windows 2003 SP1.
