I created a new user in XP after installing Delphi(3) on my new XP box.
D3 runs fine when logged in as the original user but the entire component pallette is missing when run under the new user.
Anybody any idea what is going on?

Steve.

Hi.

It's recommended to install Delphi while logged in with an Admin account. Once you've dont that you must atleast run and exit Delphi before installing any extra components.

To transfer all Delphi settings from one user to another run
RegEdit select the registry branch
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Borland\Delphi" you will want to export that whole selected branch into *.reg registry file. Once the a *.reg file is created login as the other user then double click the *.reg file created to import the registry data for that user. Now when you run Delphi you should see all the components there.

Another option is to do a "registry only" Delphi install while logged in as that user.

Hope this helps you out :)
