Delphi 4.0 cannot access SQL2000 1

Hi Guys,
I had a problem that the Delphi 4.0 unable to access the SQL2000 database. Could any of you have such experience to share with me ? Your advise is highly appreciated !

What exactly is your problem? Do you have the sql drivers, Are you using the client-server edition? S. van Els

The problem is, I'm going to migrate the SQL7.0 database to SQL2000. One of our program is using Delphi 4.0 connected to SQL7.0 now we are going to upgrade SQL2000. The database already exported to SQL2000 sucessfully but the Delphi 4.0 program unable to find the SQL2000 server. In client, I installed the SQL2000 client edition. Any idea ?

Probably you have to modify the alias in the BDE administrator to point out to SQL2000. S. van Els
