I have a Dell Power Vault 132T in a SAN, i have found the Tape drive and medium changer in the windows device manager and installed the correct drivers for it.

When i try and add the device in omniback all i can see is the tape drive. This doesn't let me use the tape device as the changer whick it is.

Does any one have any ideas on how we can resolve this so omniback sees it as a changer not a single tape device.

Thanks

I saw this issue with an HP autoloader. I turned out that the autoloader was defective though the drive was fine, and you could actually backup to the drive but not really use the autoloader. After HP sent us a new box we pulled the drive out and put it in the new loader and every thing worked fine.
