Dell AXIM X5 PDA Sync to Exchange 5.5 Public Folders

Have a Dell Axim X5 PDA . Can happily Sync my Exchnage mail, contacts, calender. I would like to be able to Sync the PDS with the Exchange PUBLIC folders - specifically contacts and calender.
Any help appreciate. IS it an Exchange setting or limitation ?

I have an Axim and want to do the same thing. I have found nothing yet. But I think that their is a server that is made for this. Microsoft calls is Mobile Information Server. Not sure though.

There is an option when you Sync to connect direct to an Exchange server.
I am not an Exchange guru...but, it may be a security thing possibly, not sure on the Exchange server/client end...???
