I try to delte this specific file but i get an acces denied message how do i remove it. Thanks :)

Well access could be denied for several reasons... Try closing all your programs (using ctrl+alt+del if necessary)and trying to delete again. If it is a system file or a file on a network it may be that you don't have permissions to delete the file. Log in as administrator or go to the computer the file is on and delete it.
Try the close all programs idea first, that is probably most likely what is going on. The file you are trying to delete is probably still running even if you don't realise it. Task manager (ctrl + alt + del window) will show you what is running, close everything except explorer (for win9x anyway).
Hope that helps!

Go to msdos mode and set attributes of the file then delete it. If it won't delete there it means the file is used by windows so you restart the system and get to dos and delete it from there. DOS in a window won't allow you to delete files used by windows. Ed Fair
