Deletetion of IMAP4 Emails

Using IMAP4 and windows server 2003. When I delete a message in Outlook Express, it just puts a Line over the deleted item but the item stays there and is never totally removed. I know there has be a setting somewhere that enables the server to permently delete a message after 2 days from the server. Where is this setting?

Ya..it's called "purge". In OE, there is a purge button. Click it and it'll purge the email.

Ok, thanks. Is there any way that the server can delete them without having to do that in OE? Like, once the message is mark for deletetion, the server automactically deletes them after 3 days?
