Hello,

I was in the process of deleting some stations and I inadvertantly deleted my voicemail stations!

I have since added them in, and set them back up in my hunt group 99, but for some reason everytime I try to go to Octel, I get their generic message instead of my agents voice mail!

Hope someone can help!
Barry

Check the agents voicemail and see if their personal greeting are still in place. If they are see if they are active. What you done may have just deactivated their greetings and the system greetings may be answering now.

Just a thought.

If you find any mistakes, please consider that they are there for a purpose. And everyone needs a purpose.

I think your problem is in your Octel.

Every time I get non-integrated greetings instead of the agent's personal greeting I've always found that the wrong alias (the agent id number) is wrong on the subscribers voice mailbox profile in the Octel.

hello
make sure that the voice mail ports are in the right order
on the octel or you will get the generic message
Just get a test phone and plug into the ports and check the numbers are in the right order
Thanks

did you create the ports as VMI type? if not the mode code will not function for the octel.

Thanks guys,

We had to get Avaya to fix it, and we are now waiting to see what they actually did!

I will keep you posted, just as an FYI.
