Deleted mail keeps returning

I have W2K3, E2K3 and Rim's Blackbery Enterprise Server 3.6 running in a GroupWise 5.5 environment.

Last weekend several pieces of mail were forwarded from GW into the Exchange box but were not sent to the Blackberry device as it was turned off.

When the device was turned on the mail was sent, read ok and then deleted from the Blackberry and then the mail was reconciled and the files were deleted from the exchange mailbox ( by design ).

Here's the hitch, about every four hours or so the mail returns to the exchange mailbox and is sent to the Blackberry where the same thing happens again ( read, deleted etc.)

I have restarted the server to no avail.

Any ideas?

I figured it out...the message queues were populated with unprocessed messages. While the Blackberry was turned off it couldn't process the message (by design ) and when it finally was turned on, the message was processed but was not cleared from the queue.

I cleared the message queues and all seems well.

If anything changes I will advise.
