Deleted Emails skipping Deleted Items Folders

This is a bizarre one,a user can delete an email it completely bypasses the D.I Folder (similar action to shift-delete,though there is no warning (it is ticked))
Everything within Outlook is functioning,only happening to 1 user.Exchange Server retains deleted items for 8 days,this
User's account reflects to use Info Store defaults..Any ideas?

If you highlight Deleted Items and then click Tools - Recover Deleted Items, do you see the e-mails there? If you do, check that there is no filter applied to the Deleted Items view.
