Deleted Address Book Entries in Outlook come back 1

I went into my CEO's computer remotely on Friday through Terminal Server. I opened Outlook and removed 2 addresses. I closed Outlook and disconnected. The following Monday, my CEO tells me that the Addresses are still in his address book. I know that I deleted them. Could there have been a local instance of Outlook open already and the deletions did not become permanent? This is making me crazy.

Does he snyc a Palm or other handheld device? (Even some mobile phones).
