I was wondering if I select DELETE under node config in Element Manager, will it delete the node config from the Call Server or Signaling Server or Both?

I want to "delete" the Node Config from the Call Server and re transfer the node config back into the call server by running "import node config" from the Signaling Server and then perform a "save and transfer"

Any help would be appreciated.

If you delete the node from EM you will be deleting the config from the Call Server. The node info will still be in the Signaling Server so you can import it again. Remember that Element Manager is intended to manage the Call Server and not the SS.

Why would you want to erase the node and transfer it again? Are you experiencing some issues?

Thanks for the reply.

I was performing a save and transfer and then received a WEB0007 error, per the Nortel site, it recommended deleting the node config, retrieve (import) the node config and then do a save and transfer.

I think it is because some files may be corrupt in the Call Server?

Thanks for the response Arriero, I performed the Nortel recommended procedure and it worked like a charm.
