All:

I would like to delete and then prevent the creation of local profiles on my W2K workstations. I use roaming profiles, so they would not need to keep the local profile that is typically created whenthe user logs on.

Any hints/suggestions would be great.

Thanks

I will answer you As I understand from your message which was not that clear :

when the users use the roaming accounts , they will not use the local at all ... so that you just have to remove the local profiles ,,

hi,

you can use "delprof" utility for deleting the Loacl profiles. This utility comes with Resource kit .

usage: DELPROF [/Q] [/I] [/P] [/C:\\] [/D:]

/Q Quiet, no confirmation.
/I Ignore errors and continue deleting.
/P Prompts for confirmation before deleting each profile.
/C Remote computer name.
/D Number of days of inactivity

Or you can set a group policy for deleting the cached profiles on local workstations.
