I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5 and have come across something that I have found distracting (to say the least!). I was trying to copy and paste text from one textbox to another. So, I would copy the text from textbox A and then delete it (using the "Delete" key). But when I attempted to then click on the textbox B, it would hang my computer for a few minutes until it came up with a generic error message stating that Crystal would be shut down and that I would likely lose any data that hadn't been saved.
Of course, it took me a while to cotton onto this problem, but when I finally tried to use the "Backspace" key instead of "Delete", I encountered no further errors.
My question, if there is one, is whether anyone else has encountered this problem and if it is known by BO (a Google search turned up nothing in this regard)? If so, is there another solution or SP that fixes it? Actually, since I know I'm using an older version of CR, does this same issue occur in the later version(s)? Thanks!
