Hello all once again. I am having a problem with deleting duplicate data and keeping one of those records after the delete. I have a table (Emp ID, Employee Name, Address) that contains duplicate data. I want to insert that information into a new table without duplicate data. What I need to do though is still insert one of those duplicate records because it will need to be there eventually. Is there a way to insert only one of the duplicate records into the new table? Thank you very much in advance.

There will be around 1000 rows. Thanks.

I would unload the rows into a speadsheet, sort it, delete the duplicate rows and reload the table.
I would, however, make sure that the keys on the table stop you getting duplicats again.
You probabbly could write a query but hey ! life's too short !
Any help ?
