Delete configuration without doing factory reset 1

Is there any way that I can delete the current configuration for a NetScreen 25 without doing using the reset button? We have access to the NetScreen (ie username, password etc) so we'd rather avoid doing a factory reset if possible. I tried using the unset all command but this didn't seem to work. The IP addresses assigned to the interfaces were still the same and all of the objects I created seem to be still there also. Any ideas at all???

You did the following right ?

ns25-> unset all
Erase all system config, are you sure y/[n] ? y
ns25-> reset
Configuration modified, save? [y]/n n
System reset, are you sure? y/[n] y
In reset ...

If you hit Y for config modified, save ? it will retain the config running in memory, and write this to flash (which you just removed)

Yea, I just figured that out ... thanks for your reply. Like you said, I was hitting Y for save config, 'coz I thought I need to save the unset all. Once I said no, then it was fine. Think you still deserve the star for posting the answer anyway tho
