Hi,

can I delete the Application Data directory found under :

C:\Documents and Settings\pete\Local Definitions\Application Data

This directory is currently consuming 1 Gb space and would like to know the impact of deleting this dir..

tia,

Do not delete the folder it contains much of the program information that pertains to the user information. I am assuming that you are short of disk space and need more. Open my computer and right click on you C: drive and run disk cleanup. It will find much of the uneeded files you can remove.

Is the folder name Local Settings or what you have called it - Local Definitions?

Have you opened up this folder and seen which sub-folder inside of it is the biggest, or are they all fairly large?

Do you have large files waiting to be burnt to CD, or a million old e-mails on your machine, or something madly logging something non stop?
