I know I've seen this before and I believe I need to chalk it up to corrupted user/vmbox but I'm hoping one of you can trigger my memory.

System is 9.0.5, Virtual Server Edition with native VMPro and some expansions but for sake of conversation, we will talk about phones off the SE. Phones are 9611 and 9608's.

User gets a voicemail message, shows up in VMPro Client as new message, status.txt file marks message as +N and message shows up in email due to VM to Email copy on. Message does not show up on phone or light up phone light. System status does not show any new messages. If user dials *17 and enters ext/pass it will say he has one new message. If he presses visual voice (message button) it will show as 0 until he presses listen then it will show the new message there.

Like I said, I've seen this before and I believe a recreate of the user and vmbox after blowing it up fixed it. Unfortunately this is happening to about 8 users so far and I don't want to reprogram a couple hundred users if it continues... :(

Thanks!

For the purpose of searches and such, I think I solved this. Looks like the V source code for everyones extension was set to the same extension number, not the individual number. Changed this for all users and restarted voicemail service and message showed up in inbox and in system status. Now time will tell!

Manager doesn't correct these entries anymore when you copy users. If I remember right it had been done automatically in previous manager releases...

Funny that they removed button and short code from help to save some disk space but added the whole 'book' of SBCE config for remote workers.

They only saves like 4MB taking it out, I don't think 4MB makes any difference to anybody in storage space but it's pissed a lot of people off doing it :)

I was assuming it was the copy and paste feature. One more thing to add to the config checklist :)

And yes, 4MB, you're talking about an extra 2 seconds or less of download time. I think we can handle that! I wish less time was spent on "updating the help file" and more time was spent fixing the system and making sure patches are applied to service packs and GA's. In a perfect world...
