I know this may be an odd question. But is there a way to force a defualt font type when composing or replying to messages in OWA. I would want Arial 10. Thanks in advance, I will search the web also.

if you look inside of options in owa, the second option group down will be messaging options. beneath the edit signature button, you will see a Mail Editor font. there will be a font button right next to it so that you may choose what you wish.

From my understanding however, the system is set to default at Arial 10pt, but whatever is displayed in that box is what yours is set to.

Hi athelu. Is the owa propties in the inetmgr or in the system manger console. I cant find the options to you are talking about. I am using exchange 2000. I want this arial 10 to be global.

Sorry about that sundance - thought you were using OWA 2003.

The only way to manipulate the font for replied and sent messages in OWA 2000 that i am aware of is at the browser level. as long as the client has at least IE 5.0 installed, if you update the Font setting under Tools/internet Options, you can specify whatever font/size you like. If you want to make this a global change, you could perhaps create a IEAK version of IE 6 SP1 and install it with this customization on your PCs.
