Defragging Exchange Databse partitoin.

Our Exchange 2003 Database partition is completely red (Fragmented). The database is 100GB and the partition is 500GB. Is it safe to just run a normal defrag out of hours on this Exchange database partiton. This I will schedule a defrag for Sunday morning.

Then I will try an offline Exchange database defrag next month.

What do you recon?

says it's okay to do, and gives you the extra info about defragging the databases as well.
