Hi all. First let me say I am in no way an expert on the Definity or Audix, I know enough to be dangerous. With that said I have an issue where when a call goes to voice mail coverage on 2 specific extensions I get the message "your call is being answered by Audix, please enter the extension you are calling" as opposed to the recorded greeting or the canned message with the spoken name. On all other extensions the Audix answers correctly. The problem subscribers belong to the same COS as all other subscribers in the Audix and the coverage path is also identical in the Definity. I was reading some of the other posts in the forum and saw the issue could be related to the mode codes, however why would this affect just these 2 stations and none of the others? This happens consistently with these 2 extensions with either internal or external calls. I am asking where should I start in troubleshooting this problem?

Try removing the subscribers "remove sub xxx" then recreate "add Sub xxx", if you emulate a working subscribers settings all should be fine.

Note, any greetings or messages will be lost.

Thanks montyzummer, I tried removing/adding and there wasn't any change.

hang on sorry i think that you dont have the greetings recorded try entering the extn number then the password for the subscriber recording the greeting and try again.

Also try and leave the users a mail and when you enter the mailbox can you retrive??

Here's a goofy thing that has caught more than one guy with Audix...do these users happen to have "long" last names in the switch? Try changing their subscriber name to just the ext number in the switch and see what happens....Just a thought..
