Definity Site Administration help with Exporting and Importing 1

Im looking to export information from our phone system and im wanting to know what I can export it into. Where a school district and im needing to create a phone directory for the upcoming school year, where thinking we could export the information as an excel file send it to the secreatary at the school as a excel file have her edit it if theres any changes and then I could reimport it into the phone system with the new changes. Is this a posibility or does someone have a better idea?

Site Administration software will allow you to export the extensions with names as a text file.
You can then import it into excel and edit it.

I guess my question is, is this the only way to do it and when you import the text into an excel spreadsheet can you then reimport it back into the phone system?

Are there some other third party software available that will help with taking the data from the DSA software and converting it into multiple formats?

Currently I'm using ASA for export, edit in excel with CSV format, and import it for mass configuration.
This is very useful for disaster recovery plan.
