Hi....Can you tell me if it's possible for Definity users to dial 5 digits internally but have the call route out to the PSTN network for termination?

In otherwords, user dials 41680 but the call actually routes to the network out pulsing 781-784 1680?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes. No the hard part. Is it just the one extension or multiple? If it just the one then remove it from translation. Then put the extension in the uniform dial plan table pointing to a route. Matching pattern will be the extension. 41680 Len 5 (Number of digits dialed) del 0. Don't delete anything. insert digits 114 (anything you wish here use something that id's the destination) net aar conv n

Now the insert digits 114 will point to aar a code. This is just like ars. This will point to a route that will insert 781 784 ETC.

I hope this makes sense
