First of all:

How good something is depends on what you expect of it.

If you're looking for software to monitor you acd then CMS is the best option I think.

Ifr you're looking for software to measure outgoing and incoming calls, TMS is a pretty good alternative to Calaxy or Florin.

Dutch KPN sells this on Ericson PBX's as well.

You can make/schedule incoming reports per station/department, etc.

The 3.0 version is webbased so easy access to all kind of reports.

Find a reseller in your country and ask them to arrange a demo.

Let me know what you think of it. Plan your work............Work your plan

I apologize.
I didn't explain well what i'm looking for.
I'm searching a software that allow me to monitor the alarms on my definity ( for example showing red flags for what is not working) and can run each x minutes ( i know i can do that with ASA but i don't like it too much ).
Maybe something like onemanage of Ecomserver ( this product is for the conversant).
Any help would be very appreciated.

I know NOTHING about this company or their reputation, but it's a start for you and its the only one that I know about:

Avaya does have the Visibility software, but that may only be financially feasible if you have many PBXs.

There is a product called HeadsUp by Utilcall. Here's what it says about the product, I have never tried it:

"This tool will give administrators the ability to receive Error, Alarm, and Event reports via email, with the option of choosing which fields they would like to download in order to get their report to fit on their desktop, PDA, RIM, Cell Phone or any other device."

It has a 10 Day Free Trial and can be found at the following address:

They also have a product that I tried that is called Call Flow Extract where it will pull all your Vectors, VDN, Announcements, CORs, Agent ID's, Vector Events, Hunt Groups and put it inot an HTML format, all info on in an easy to read/access format. Very useful.

The alarms exit the Definity in CSSI format (a proprietary format). There is an Avaya product that accepts these alarms and translates them into SNMP traps and forwards them to a monitoring tool (e.g. HP Open View). Given the proprietary format of the alarming, you probably have to use the Avaya product. I was a Controlled Introduction site for this in 1995 or 1996, it was pretty good from day one and has been improved since.

SNMP native is comming soon though! :)
