Hi All
I need to install a new Definity G3siV10 B carrier onto a Processor carrier A carrier it is not a duplicated processor.

So far I have found that I need to do the following:

(i) Set Port Cabinet B (J58890H) on top of Control Cabinet A.

(ii) Remove the Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) Bus Terminator (AHF110) from Slot 18 of the Control Cabinet (Processor Port Network (PPN)) and move it to Slot 17 on the top Port Cabinet.

(iii) Connect the supplied Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) Bus Cables (WP-91716 L3) between slot 18 on the Processor carrier and slot 00 on carrier B

(iV) Set the carrier address on the B carrier with the jumpers (right hand vertical jumper)

Is the above process correct, if yes is there any Software changes that need to be made to complete the install and does the PBX require a reboot after the addition.

Thank you and look forward to your thoughts.

That's about it, but... you will need to shut the PBX down when you move the existing bus terminator and add the new TDM Bus cable. (I've done it with the system hot, but I sure don't recommend it).

I am with you old phone guy. With as many pins that are under the TDM bus terminator, shut it down and double check for proper pin alignment before you power back up. Their are power on some pins and not on others. It could be REALLY bad to power pins that are not supposed to have it.

Thanks for the input, do you know if there are any Hardware limitations, the Current Processor Hardware is a revision 10, however the B carrier is from a V5 hardware statck?

The carrier should be the same. If this system is already running on V10, it is important to match the vintages on all the packs in both carriers. You do not need any software conflicts going on with this while you are trying to bring this system back up.
