Definity direct trunk access on G3 S8700 1

Is it possible to directly access a specific trunk by selecting the trunk group and member number? If not, is there a comparable feature available on this switch?

You need to progrmmed the feature code for "Facility Test Calls Access Code: *11". With this code you can select the trunk and member required. Normally this is used for testing.

I don't like Facility test call. I think it's not safe. I use the verify button. I assign the button only on the tech's that need it. I use it for all trunks except DID. To use verify you press the verify button. The sets selects an apperance and you have dialtone. You then dial the TAC of the trunk group then the member you wish to test. You get dialtone again and place a test call. I usually test by calling another tech.
