definity csi cm 3.1.1 - clan problem

Hi

the clan is tn799dp hw01 fw12.
i do enable filexfer.
ftp to clan ip address and i get "user:"i give the user i assigned on filexfer and i get "password:"
When i input the password i get "login failed", although the password is the one i assigned in the filxfer command.

addtl info:the clan is working ok for SAT.
"status link 1" shows everything ok
i have already changed the clan.
Any ideas?

try to disable filexfer and enable it back with 'secure' field set to 'n'.
may help.

I have already done that.It is the only way to enable filesystem because the clan has fw12 and doesn't support secure file transfer.

i inserted the tn799 to a definity R11 si and i upgraded the fw to 17 with no problem.Now i can ftp files to the clan with no problem on the csi too!!!
