Have a customer that states calls are being cutoff in the middle of messages. Has anyone ever experienced this and know of a reason or a cure? I haven't been able to find out if they re-listen to them and the entire message is intact.

I do know that they are not calling in from cellular phones and that it has happened on several mailboxes.

thanks guys....

Check to make sure the mailbox is not full and then check what the max message length is set to. If they try to leave to long of a message it will cut off.

You can set it up so it will warn the caller when they are approaching the mailbox's max message length or the capacity of the mailbox. We have ours set to warn with 15 seconds left.

That option on my Intuity is on the second page of the system-parameters features. The field is End of Message Warning.

Hope that helps.

I had this problem on an Octel once. The answer will sound really strange but... sometimes a woman's voice can have the exact same pitch as the DTMF on a touchtone key pad. In my case it was just one caller and when she said a certain word it had the same pitch as the key to end the recording.

That is a good point, you can try re-recording the greeting and have her keep the handset an inch form her mouth and have her speak softly. Intuity releases earlier than 5.1.33 have the 90 day bug, you need to reboot it every 90 days.
