Hi All,

Does anyone deal with a supplier that can offer a good deal on the Definity Pre-Formatted Rewritable Optical Disks ?

I think £294 each is a bit OTT from Avaya.

It is for a ECS R8r.

Many Thanks

Steve.

buy the disks from a supplier. I use source one. The non formatted ones are even less and just format them.

Hi thanks for your reply..

From what I understand you cannot format the disks in the Definity, how would you format them ??

The only format option we have is for the hard disk.

Regards

Steve.

like i have said before, you could format MO discs on an earlier G3r software release. you would put an unformatted disc in and when it kicked off the backup, it would format it also. it was one of the first issues of 8 or 9. after that, Lucent thought that they wold loose money or something if customers could buy their own discs and use them.

and yes, the format command only works for the hard drive.
