Could someone tell me how to set the default value in SQL Server 2000 to value = 0
We converted our Access 97 back end to SQL Server 2000. I already set the Default Value = 0 in the columns tab. The column is also "checked" to Allow Nulls. But the data field is not defaulting to "0", instead is coming up blank.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

I suspect you are set the value to blank rather than allowing it to default.

In the insert you need to omit the column from the column list. Setting it to null or blank will not allow it to default.
