Default T7406 Security Code? 2

I am still some what new to Norstar programming, and in the process of installing one of these phones I have accidentally overwritten the default securtiy code with my new personalized code.

Now I can't get the base and headset to talk, even after following the Addendum's instructions for assigning the first headset to a new base station.

Can anyone help?

I am having a similiar problem, I have 2 T7406 handsets on one base. Initially, I was able to turn on the phones and make calls, but the customer was complaining of static which I did not hear so I tried switching the dip switches to switch to the other range, the phones said scanning indefinitely after this.

I tried changing the security code and resending it, the display just says "Send Error" and now I can't get the phones to do anything but say scanning. I tried this with both handsets set to handset id 1.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks.
 
Set your phone to scanning,Then unplug power from base then
plug in power and hit send,Then it will work,If not try it again, It may take a couple of times
 
I think I figured it out. I didn't realize you had to hold down the send button for 5 seconds, it worked after that.
