Referring back to an issue I posted:

Is there such thing as a default for undefined DID digits?

We have been trying to get Bellsouth to process an order for Digit Manipulation for 4 months now with no luck.

I did however find out the customer wants the DID in question to ring at the receptionist station.

Is there any option to route undefined DID digits to the receptionist?

Thanks,

If the Rec digits are not assigned then the call should come in over whatever lines the T1 or PRI is. So just make those lines Prime to the Attendant.

if the call is coming into the switch and not properly programed, eventually the call will make its way to the recpt. The caller will hear many rings before the recpt does though.

If the target line is not built, it should give a busy signal

When in doubt RTFM (read the friggin manual)

Phoneguy427 is correct, they're getting a busy signal.

Finally found someone at Bellsouth to enter the order for Digit Manipulation, of course it won't happen until next year.

Thanks and have a great Holiday!

Check the physical lines that the Target lines ride, If they do not have a Prime set then you will get a busy because the system don't know what to do with the call. If you have those line go to a prime set then the call will go there on that line.
