I have a user with a local laserjet printer (HP 6P). This laser printer has been selected as the default printer (it even has the little check mark on it) but when she goes to print something out of Word her documents print to a network printer in another office. I checked the port to see if possibly it had been changed to the network setting but it's still saying LPT1. I thought maybe the port had been accidently captured but I don't see any options for capturing the port. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the default printer selection to get passed through to Word??? She's running XP Pro and Office 97 (Until next year. Hopefully. Depends on the "Budget Hacker"
