Hi Jez
I double checked this "how-to-do" DECT in ipLDK-24 - and this text below is the correct way.
The cabling should be 4-wired straight from an RJ11 to an RJ45 connector.
The handset to be registered should be set into "registration mode" and the AC code should be entered.
So when cabling and programming is OK, then procede with the registation.
DECT numbers in ipLDK-24 start with station 30 - and the station type is seen im PGM105 (should be WHTU).
Only assign DECT handsets to numbers labeled WHTU in PGM105.
Here is the "How-to":
First the WTIB(E) must be installed and programmed:
From the attendant console e.g LDP-7024.:
1.
First press [Trans/Prog]+ 0# + flex button 6 + and enter PARK code (see PARK label on WTIB/WTIBE/MPB (14 digits)) + [HOLD/SAVE].
(PARK code is 14-digits and always start with 3110 ...... (entered correctly!))
2.
Second press [Trans/Prog] + 0 # + flex button 3 + 1234 (AC code) + [Hold/Save].
(First PARK - then AC code)
3.
Register the DECT phone - from the operator:
From attendant console:
[Trans/Prog]+ 0 # + flex button 1 + extension number + 2 + [Hold/Save].
4.
From DECT phone search for the ipLDK system PARK code 3110....
and regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.
Nice and easy!
Addendum!
It can be necessary to manually enter the PARK code from some DECT handset models:
so:
4a.
From the DECT phone search for the ipLDK system PARK code 3110....
and regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.
4b.
From the DECT phone go to the subscription menu. Here (for some models) enter the ipLDK systems PARK code 3110....
Now regiter with the AC code, which is 1234 in this example.
Some DECT handset require that the AC (or PIN) code is 0000.
This corresponding AC/PIN code must then be set in the ipLDK systems WTIB(E) board.
