Hi

Am going to decommsission a Sun Solaris server.

1. Can any one advise me on the best way to go about ths decommission?

2.Is there any tool/s that will enable me to wipe off all disk/s on the system before selling the server?

Thanx

to erase the disks
boot cdrom -sw
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/dsl/c?t?d0s2
you can cancel after a few seconds just to destroy the first blocks of a filesystem or let it run a few hours to complete
