Sorry for resurcting an old thread but...
Note In May 2009, Microsoft re-released the cumulative update for the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Service Pack 6 (SP6) Runtime Extended Files. This supersedes the cumulative update that was originally released in December 2008. This cumulative update refresh addresses several issues discovered in the original December 2008 release.

The May 4th version contains numerous bugs as well, though it might have fixed one or more. We've had recent threads here on some of the continuing flaws.

One of these is known in the Winsock control and easily reproduced.
