Hello,

I have purchased me an new computer with Win ME and here I got som problems installing my old Borland c++ 5.0 (for educational purpose), so I installed Builder 4.0 (purchaces from the magazine PC+)

But when I am trying to comile my small programs this errormessage shows up:

Debugger Kernel BORDBK41.dll missing or not registered

Anyone here who can help me with this problem?

Kind regard Stig

First, search your drives for BORDBK41.dll. If you find it, try to re-register it manually by entering "regsvr32 bordbk41" at the command prompt (Write the full path of bordbk41).

Second, you can search the Registry to make sure the
correct path and reference count are showing up
for the DLL. (search for BORDBK41 and keep hitting
F3 until you see the setting for shared DLLs).
