System has been working great. Installed a new USB MFC printer, etc. Worked fine. Slid back into position and may have inadvertantly hit the power button. System stopped. Since it was stopped and I removed a SCSI card I no longer needed.

When I pressed the power button nothing happens. No power to anything. Checked power at cable.. OK. Checked Power button switch.. OK. Checked Power Supply... OK.

Anyone have an idea? I find it hard to believe that my CPU or MB died without a wimper, beep, smell that quickly.

Swap power cord to monitor and computer and see what happens.

Thanks Micker, but I tested power at female plug with VOM and its 118v. so I know the cord isn't a problem. I've also moved memory to different slots, and am about to swap memory strip. It acts as if the power supply isn't getting the power on signal but I get continuity when I push the PowerOn switch.

Problem solved.

Replaced memory. System now works fine.

Thanks Micker for your reply. Happy Holidays.

Murphy's law! That's like having a flat tire and then the car won't start.
