When I run MS movie player I get message "Initialisation of dynamic link library C:\winnt\system32\ddraw.dll failed. The process is terminting abnormally"

I am running NT4.0 and have recently installed Service Pack 6a, but still have the problem.

Ddraw.dll is part of the DirectDraw.
I recomand you to reinstall DirectX. Don't forget that for NT4 the max. version you can apply is DirectX 3.0a.

I have now installed DirectX Media Runtime 6.0 (which is specifically for NT) and reinstalled Service Pack 6a.

Now when I load the media player I get the following error: "The procedure entry point MakeCriticalSectionGlobal could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

What do you suggest now.....?
