Hi all,
on browsing my event viewer I found out the following error message (System Log)
Source :DCOM
EventID: 10016
OS: Windows Xp Home - SP2
In short, my account (joined to the local group Admistrators) seems not to have any authorization for a COM server application in local mode; according to the serch command on the regedit interface, the CLSID of above application turns out to be the MDM service (Microsoft Debugging Manager). Any idea on how to fix this ploblem, please?
Thanks in advance
Leonardo

Ps: According to the event viewer suggestion, I have had a look on the Administrative Tool, Components Service to find the application corresponding to MDM service, but since I don't have a good knowledge about Com components and the likes, I thought well not "plunge into this forest" for nor causing unwanted misconfiguration.

when you run this application as user administrator, does it give the same result? Because a user with admin rights isn't the same as being the local admin himself.

greetz,

R.
