I have an application that works fine as a DCOM server under 95/98/NT when it's identity is that of the launching user. However, under windows 2000 it fails when registering it's window classes. If I change its identity to the interactive user then it starts fine, this is not a good solution though as it requires that a user is logged in.

Specifically, afxregisterwndclass is asserting, but I'm not really getting any useful information from the failure.

Anybody seen this, know what may be going wrong ?
