Hi All,
I am having a problem with a DCH related to another thread that I created in regards to a PRI Card issue.

Currently I'm running on the DCH backup, and the primary DCH doesn't seem to get back to Stand By mode. The last time this happened the telco indicated someone at their end disabled the T1 circuit. I have a ticket open with the telco, but the problem remains.

Below is a message I am receiving from the Option 11. Could someone give me an idea what the message means:

DCH 15 I 5056DA71
1C 01 00 00 FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Also, below is a print out of LD 96 DCH Status and LD 60 Status and LCNT:

When ever I try to enable DCH 15 in LD 96, it goes into AEST mode, but then reverts back to RLS.

Any suggestions?

Thanks all for you help

Anytime I have ever had awaiting establish, it was always the PBX waiting on Telco. If you drop thoses Dch's and bounce your loops and it stays in negotiation, it will more than likely need the same bounce on the Telco side.

I had the same problem just yesterday. Called telco, as soon as they began testing the csu, DCH came back. You most likely will need to put a ticket in with ur telco.

What you might want to say on the TELCO ticket is to have them check the HANDLER card at the CO that your DCH is on, you are not having problems with the CIRCUIT (this is what they test first) but the DCH, (and they don't test that)

Good Luck.

Hi All,
Turned out the telco techs were receiving alarms on one of our PRI circuits and then busying out the circuit to clear the alarm. They would forget to turn on the circuit??? is the line I was feed. In any case the, the DCH is back up. At least we had a back up.
