Dbcheck use

When i use at command prompt dbcheck -r astpsdat on my ArcServe2000 win nt2000 sp4 Server it start in interactive mode and ask me:

Enter Raima server name
Enter your userid
Enter your password

i use my Domain Administrator User but I receive an error failed to log at Server with Administrator userid (-2005) anytime i received also -1005 error (no documentated).

Possible that Domain Administrator have this limit. I use normally it for all other functions.

How I can connect at my ArcServe to perform dbcheck?

Thanks Ok I know this info parameter but I need to know info about reset password account to connect VLDB Arcserve DB so I can use DB util to accessing at Raima database.

HI,
On the command prompt...

Type... for e.g
C:\Program Files\CA\BrightStor ARCserve Backup>dbcheck -r astpsdat

You will be prompted with the following... type as below

Enter Raima Server name: rdsnp
Enter your userid: admin
Enter your password: ****** (type in "secret". THis is the password)

This is correct credential to login..but command prompt is ambiguous and confused in windows accounts users...
Ok now i can perform dbcheck and dbdefrag to reduce my DB!

dbdfrag produces output files that have to be manually deleted after the operation to recover the disk space.

Hi,
at this time i have re-used dbcheck statment at dos prompt but i receive:

Enter Raima Server name: rdsnp
Enter your userid: admin
Enter your password: ******
Failed to log into server 'rdsnp', username 'admin': error -2005.

can I change the password or recover system password?

I look also admin.exe win apps to connect at raima DB but i can't log with admin@rdsnp

ok i see keybuild utility but i don't know the correct key to reset at default account admin and password.
keybuild can costruct new keys in raima db and i want set at default user and password rdsnp DB
do you know this specific command?

NOTE: You will be prompted to enter a username and password when running these utilites. The username is admin and the password is secret.

If memory serves correct in ARCserve 2000 the database is named arcserve.

Ok thanks, is true I can now use command util to check DB because I obtainied from activity log of job bckup:

E4116 Unable to begin db backup E=-39
E3511 Unable to begin db backup E=-1

I have used DOS command utility DBCHECK interactive mode but I obtain this output :

Maybe I have problem in my Raima db....
