My sincerest apologies for any offense I may have given. I meant my post in a very light-hearted way, but I can see in retrospect how it may have been insulting. I would like to say that there are some helpful suggestions in fluteplr post and in mine that should not be disregarded. Books/Manuals on VFP, Help/MSDN, Internet Search Engines and Keyword Searches (such as the one in this forum) can be huge resources when it comes to problem solving and knowing what is available from within Visual Foxpro. The difference is giving someone a fish or teaching them how to fish I guess.
Let me tell you that before posting to tek-tips I did try to search but all in vein. I never thought it would be something inbuilt in FoxPro.
Sure you were trying to teach me how to fish. And I like it. But wouldn’t it be better to feed the hungry man and then teach him fishing for his next meal.
Anyways. My problem was solved and it wasn’t the first time that I got the answer from tek-tips. There have been many instances when the gurus of tek-tips have come for my help. And I am very thankful to all of them.
