Day of the week indication

Hi,

I'd like my Today screen (Start bar and the today screen itself) to show what DAY of the week it is.

In fact I'd like it to show me the date like this "Thursday 6th March".

How do I do this ?

Probably not going to get that in the Start Bar, but you can on your today screen. It requires third party software and there are to many to list.

Since you are new, try going to

http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com

and do some searches for calendar on the Today screen.

Plus you will find some great people there with great suggestions for software.

Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't visited that site before - only pocketgear.com and handango.com (where I went this morning to download LOADS of programs for my PPC !!!).

I hope I will find what I am looking for, especially as also wouldn't mind finding a talking clock which gives me the same information (I find the day of the week is FAR more important than the date!).

I am REALLY enjoying my IPAQ, and it seems all my friends and family are too - I took it to my sister's and she had a few friends around, and they ALL wanted to check it out, especially a few cool game I'd recently downloaded - they were addicted within minutes !! I was suddenly a very popular guest (more than otherwise, that is !!!).
