I have a gateway in AZ but main switch is in PA and other sites around the US but AZ has no DST change, how do I keep that site at the correct AZ time?

set the location code for all of the sites. then define the daylight saving rule by location.

so your saying, If i were to enter 0 into the rule just on the AZ site this should work even though it is just a gateway w/no 8300 in it on an 8800 in differt time zone, the other locations work fine but just this site has no day light change and when the site in PA in the fall will change again but that would change the
-3:00 from the time that is on the main in PA, it would be differnt if i had a seprate 8800/or 8300 in AZ to set that to an 0. Right?

Correct. A rule that shows no daylight savings would be the rule you would choose for the Arizona location.

All servers in a cluster should be set to the same time as the main. The daylight savings rules and locations are for CM that governs the time on phone and equipment in cabinets and gateways based on network-regions and locations.

Thank you for your input.I will try that, thanks for the help once again

If you want to see something that is really broken, set the time on your LSP and ESS servers in different timezones than the main.
When these servers take over in a survivable mode using the CM translations and rules programmed in the main translations that are file sync'd to these servers, the rules being based on the server time in a different time zone will cause all times to be off from the design intent.
