Date/Time on Console Display?

Is there a way to get the current Date/Time to appear by default on the Attendant Console display? I understand there is a DATE/TIME button that will display the info for 5 seconds, but then returns to idle state.

I think it all depends on the model consle you are using. As for the Time/Date button; with the older sets (8400s) you can lock the time on the display but not the date. Once the 6400s came out, then you could lock the date as well. Hope this helped.
